Solution Architect 

Vikar, a fast-growing Fintech leader in digital lending and account opening/KYC solutions for community and regional banks, is seeking a highly motivated Solution Architect to ensure the successful delivery of technology projects that align with our client's needs and Vikar’s strategic goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop subject matter expertise on Vikar's suite of technology solutions and the broader market challenges experienced by community banks.
  • Defining solution architecture:  design and document the overall architecture of technology solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and requirements.
  • Gathering requirements: collaborate with stakeholders, such as business analysts, project managers, and end-users, to understand their needs and gather requirements for the technology solution.
  • Technology evaluation and selection: assess Vikar platform technologies to determine the most suitable options for the solution. Have deep understanding of integration methods, API’s and middleware.
  • Technical guidance: provide technical expertise and guidance to development teams, helping them implement the solution effectively and troubleshoot any issues.
  • Risk identification and mitigation: identify potential risks and issues related to the solution and take appropriate steps to mitigate them, ensuring the project's success.
  • Continuous improvement: actively seek opportunities for improvement and contribute to the ongoing development and refinement of the technology solution, keeping up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
  • Effective communication: possess strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with various teams, such as developers, project managers, and business analysts, ensuring a cohesive approach to the project.

Skills Needed:

  • Strong knowledge of Vikar’s technologies, platforms, and architectural patterns: must be well-versed in various technologies and platforms to design effective solutions that meet business needs. 
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills: must be able to analyze complex business requirements and identify Vikar’s most suitable technology solutions to address them.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills: effectively communicate with stakeholders, developers, and other IT professionals.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams: collaborate with various teams to ensure the successful implementation of technology solutions.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools: must be knowledgeable about project management best practices and tools to help manage and coordinate projects effectively.
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality and continuous improvement: ensure that Vikar’s designed solutions meet performance, scalability, and security requirements while continuously seeking opportunities for improvement.

Job Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is preferred
  • At least 3 years of experience in software development, systems engineering, or a similar role
  • At least 2 years of experience in gathering and analyzing business requirement
  • Strong knowledge of various technologies, platforms, and architectural patterns
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools
